COMFAA
COMFAA is a computer program for computing flexible and rigid ACNs
and pavement thickness. Flexible thickness design is based on the
CBR method, and rigid pavement design is based on a calculated
maximum edge stress as explained in AC 150/5320-6D. COMFAA contains
details of many aircraft. COMFAA can be downloaded from the FAA
internet site.
ICAO ACN-data
ICAO has published ACN-data of aircraft in their
Aerodrome Design Manual. Part 3, Pavement, Second Edition 1983. The
data are assembled in an Excel file, which can be downloaded from
this site.

ACN
A second ACN-program is ICAO-ACN of the Aerodrome Safety Branch,
Technical Engineering Division, Transport Canada. The ICAO Fortran
source code has been rewritten an recompiled into two (2) executable
programs. ACNF.exe computes flexible pavement ACN and ACNR.exe
computes rigid pavements ACNs. The software can be requested by
visiting the ‘Pavement Technical Documentation’ web page of
Transport Canada.
